Refund and Returns Policy

The Burgos Operational Sustainment Solutions, LLC (“The BOSS”) is committed to delivering professional, high-quality training and organizational development services. Because our services are delivered in person and require advance preparation, our refund and return policy differs from traditional product-based policies. Please read this policy carefully before booking.

All bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit. If a booking is canceled, the refund eligibility of any remaining balance paid depends on the notice provided, as outlined below.

Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required at the time of booking to confirm and hold your training date. No session, workshop, consultation, or engagement will be reserved without a confirmed deposit.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations made well in advance. It covers reserved calendar time, instructor preparation, material development, and coordination costs that begin at the time of booking — not the day of training.

Eligibility for Remaining Balance Refund

The remaining balance (the portion paid beyond your deposit) may be eligible for a refund based on the following schedule:

  • Cancellation made 7 or more business days before the scheduled training date: full refund of the remaining balance.
  • Cancellation made 3–6 business days before the scheduled training date: 50% refund of the remaining balance.
  • Cancellation made fewer than 3 business days before the scheduled training date: no refund of the remaining balance.
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: no refund of any amount paid.

Non-Refundable Services

Several types of services and fees are non-refundable once delivered or initiated:

  • Certification course materials distributed to participants
  • Digital or printed training resources provided before or during a session
  • Completed consulting sessions, assessments, or delivered reports
  • Deposit amounts on all bookings, regardless of cancellation notice

Rescheduling Instead of Canceling

We strongly encourage rescheduling rather than canceling. One complimentary reschedule is available per booking with at least 5 business days’ notice prior to the original training date. The deposit transfers to the new date. Rescheduled training must be completed within 90 days of the original booking date. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Refunds

Once a refund request is received and reviewed, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your request and notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund yet, please take the following steps:

  • First, check your bank account or card statement again.
  • Then contact your credit card company — it may take several business days before the refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank, as there is often additional processing time before a refund appears.
  • If you have completed all of the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at consulting@burgosopssolutions.com.

Corporate and Government Contracts

Refund terms for contracted engagements are governed by the terms of the executed service agreement. All payment obligations confirmed in a signed contract are non-negotiable and binding on both parties. Where a contract is silent on refunds, this general policy applies.

Partial Refunds

Only the remaining balance portion of a payment (not the deposit) is eligible for partial refund consideration. Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Cancellation made 3–6 business days before the scheduled training date (50% of remaining balance)
  • Documented medical emergency preventing participant attendance, at our discretion
  • Extenuating circumstances reviewed and approved in writing by Burgos Operational Sustainment Solutions

Exchanges and Transfers

We do not offer exchanges in the traditional sense. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the training date. Please send a written request to trainingsupport@burgosopssolutions.com with the original registrant’s name and the replacement participant’s full name and contact information.

Cancellations by Burgos Operational Sustainment Solutions

If Burgos Operational Sustainment Solutions cancels a confirmed session due to instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or events beyond our reasonable control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid — including your deposit — or the option to reschedule at no additional charge.
